All I ate today was an apple with peanut butter, is that okay if I wasn't even hungry today?

you must be tricking your mind into thinking you're not hungry

why would you just be eating that?

Its really not that great of an idea, anthough I have some days like that. When you don't eat, it slows your metabolism because your body thinks that it needs to "save" calories. You need metabolism to burn calories, and the faster it is..the better! You should eat 5 small meals in a day. But like I said, I have had days like that, and although you might see results in weight change, it REALLY hurts you in the long run when you continually do it. GL!

Doesn't sound like a sensible diet to me. You need to do better nutritionally. There's no grains or calcium or veggies! Add some of those! Are you drinking plenty of water, too? All important!
