This morning, I woke up next to this really sweet girl who I met yesterday evening in Adams Morgan. As we were chatting this morning, she said that she was really glad that she had met me when she was drunk since I was sweet and she usually wouldn't go out with a guy like me. I was just wondering if any of you who could translate Girlese into English might be able to tell me what she meant by this statement.
By the way, I would never take advantage of a girl who was truly drunk. The girl who I met up with was certainly buzzed, as was I, but she wasn't truly "drunk".
Also, I already called her back to thank her for the wonderful evening and we're going out again next weekend :-)

Girls tend to go for the Alpha male, the guy who is loud, outgoing, and has a dominant personality. We can't help it, it is built into our genetics. But, due to the alcohol, she feels her man radar was set down, allowing her to go for the sweeter and actually decent man. (you) Don't worry, its not a bad thing, she is just grateful she met you.

It means she wouldn't go out with a guy like you normally. And considering you didn't describe the type of guy you are, I can't really translate.
She could have meant look wise or personality wise. Or she could have meant that she doesn't normally go out with guys that she meets in bars that are drunk like her and she's glad she found you and not some disgusting pig.

Basically she never wants to see you again and she's trying to say The only reason she went home with you was b/c she was drunk. Therefore don't call her b/c if she were sober, you wouldn't stand a chance.
Sorry but move on and shes not "sweet" if she said she never dates sweet guys.

Alot of gurls love a guy that treat them like crap. Why i dont know im guilty of it too. And when you meet a truley nice guy its hard to let them into you life. Thats probaly what she meant. I was drunk when my bf asked me to be his gurl. and hes a really nice guy so i feel what shes saying. Best of luck

I pretty sure you are ok especially since you already have a date. I'm pretty sure she just meant that she wouldn't have gotten to know you if it wasn't by some twist of fate. Fate is good!
