A lot of Christians says he will be. The king of the east, he is the 43rd desedant of Mohammad, he wants to be working very closely with the EU to make peace between Israel or the Arab Nations. The bible says the antichrist will come from Assyria. So no Christians he will not come from the EU like I used to think. Me, I have no idea who the antichrist will be, but King Abdulla is the perfect candidate, don't you think? If he is, the tribulation is around the corner..

That all sounds so nice. However, his name does not total 666.
Being the 43rd descendant of Mohammad is irrelevant. I personally know of no Christians who have made the above statement. What are your sources?

He is trying to do a difficult job, look at the map. Jordan is squeezed in between the more influential Arab states. His father was the same, he went from one side to the other, when the affairs of the world were in his favor. As of now he is pro American. That can change. One piece of information, the Bible does say that the antichrist will not rule over Jordan.

However, if he receives a wound to the head and recovers in three days, I might change my mind. Jordan is not strong enough politically, financial or militarily to change world events.

Show me the chapter and verse that says the antichrist will come from Assyria.? I'll give you a clue, try the tribe of Dan.

Another clue, keep your eyes on Israel, she is the key to the fate of the world.

Finally, the kings of the east will probably be China with the other Asian nations in tow.

King Abdullah of Jordan is a far stretch for Antichrist. The man (while important) does not have enough clout.

The most high profile suspects (for now) would be either President of Iran -or- President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. They both may not have major military might, but if they stop shipment of oil to the US and Britain, they could have us and other parts of the world brought to our knees without firing a shot.

Seeing that the President of Iran wants and is demanding Israel (and its Jews) to be completely wiped off the face of the Earth - this man is a huge candidate for Antichrist. At any rate, the President of would-be Palestine (Mahmoud Abbas) is a major player in the whole grand scheme..., this I know for a fact. I am not saying he is the Antichrist - but he is a player.

All we can do at this point is just "guess". No one really knows who the Man of Perdition really is.

The Seven Year tribulation I fully believe starts THIS YEAR and I believe the identity of the Antichrist will become known by many - and others will not see him as such, but will embrace him to a large degree.

I just hope I am wrong on both counts. I really would be happy if I am way off base because if I am right - the time of suffering unlike anything in history will be launched - and that is not something I look forward to witnessing or experiencing.

And do know that there is no PreTrib Rapture. Jesus will either come to collect his Saints either midway through the seven years or AFTER (read the last part of Matthew chapter 24 and read Revelation chapter 20 verses 4-6).

KEEP IN MIND..., there is a possibility the Antichrist is through the figure of Muhammad, given there is this enormous growth of the Muslim religion. This is not an accusation - but an opinion based on Biblical observation and NOT intended as a means of inciting hatred against Muslims.

I think Saddam Hussein was an Antichrist. There are more than one. I don't enough about Abdullah to even make a guess at this time. I would not evaluate him just on what the bible says.

Robert "Goober" Gibbs is making himself and the White abode look thoroughly ridiculous by mendacity approximately this. you will discover the video which includes your guy or woman eyes, won't be able to you? Obama bowed to the Saudi King. who're you going to have faith? Goober or your mendacity eyes? there is a few historic previous here. while US chief of Protocol Lenore Annenberg made the blunders of curtseying to the Queen of britain in the process the Reagan administration, the U. EVER. 3 centuries in the past, China ruled Asia and while every physique, including foreign places heads of state, went to the Emperor's Royal courtroom they had to accomplish an entire bow - all a thank you to the floor - to teach their "admire" and to sign that they known his superiority. The chinese language notice for that bow is KOW TOW. That custom died while China misplaced ability. subsequently why Heads of State not bow to a minimum of one yet another. Abdullah can't possibly be the Antichrist. He starred in Star Trek as a transporter chief. How cool is that? Do you think God would let the antichrist go on Star Trek?

As an atheist there are worse things than anti-christs: like proselytizing false depictions of famous non divine religious figures in lieu of moral principles that could stand on their own.
And failure to defend our lives against god awful assassins that rise to power on the words of religion gone wild.Lets put the superstition aside just long enough to see what is happening and where our true threats are from.
Moral spirits do fine without religion and Muslim ideology sometimes even with Jesus as a prophet poses the threat of death and destruction to any other religious beliefs outside their own although shrouded in mystery as many religious provocateurs often do.
peace out and beware of all foreign threats of violent support

Nope.
Antichrist will not be born of the womb or possess a human body. Satan is Antichrist and will be supernatural and able to perform miracles to deceive the whole world. “Anti” in the Greek means “instead of” or instead of Christ.

CHRIST SPEAKING
(Luke 10:18-19) And He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

SATAN BOOTED OUT – DRAGON SERPENT DEVIL
(Rev.12:7-9) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. (9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

SATAN THE SERPENT - BEGUILES
(II Cor.11:3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

SATAN HIMSELF – TRANSFORMED INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT
(II Cor.11:14-15) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

SATAN CLAIMING TO BE GOD
(II Thes.2:3-4) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

SATAN WILL DECEIVE THE WHOLE WORLD
(Dan.9:27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

CHRIST SPEAKING
(Mark 13:21-22) And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: (22) For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

sorry. he's not the one. look to saudi arabia. he is still prepairing the masses to do what he wants- get stupid. besides, the bad guy is supposed to come from babylonia, not assyria. saudi arabia was a part of the babylonian empire, but jordan was part of the kingdom of israel not part of the persian or babylonian or assyrian empires.
the king of the east is going to come from china or korea, not the middle east.

No descendants of the Prophet (peace be upon him) will ever be touched by the fire of Hell, so NO, His Majesty Abdullah King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan cannot be the Anti-Christ.

Peace and Love

maybe.. he is a possible candidate since he starts out as a man of peace....and turns to war later... he definitely favors the arabs in any conflict...however, there is one scripture which indicates he will not have a desire for women.....abdullah is happliy married.

one prediction is that the beast is a kingdom... only saudi arabia and jordan have a kingdom....as a government.
