I believe you are referring to Kimbo's fight against Sean Gannon.
My short answer is YES, this was a fair fight. Kimbo Lost, by "knockout."
There were represenitives from both sides insuring that none of their rules were broken. The rules of the fight seemed like they were: no wrestling, no kicking, no knees, and no joint locks or chokes. The problem is, the rules were not spelled out to us (the audience) so these rules aren't very clear....
At one point in the fight, Gannon uses a guilltine choke on kimbo.....and in another point he uses a knee. Often times in fights, fighters break the rules...so this is nothing new. The fighters continued the fight, and their representatives let them....so obviously they didnt feel that the rule violation was sufficient to cause Gannon to be disqualified, so neither do I.
Plain and simple- Gannon won. He would have won even more easily had they allowed grappling / kicking/ knees...etc...as he is a trained UFC fighter.

Yes Gannon had cage fighting experience and used many techniques to wear kimbo down and without the institution of rounds kimbo became weary after the a while and gannon had been putting all his weight on kimbo so he was relitively fresh although kimbo clearly had the better striking as gannon's face was a reck after the fight.

yes.......kimbo's team didnt articulate the rules. Also, Kimbo was the one who started the grappling no Sean Gannon. Watch closely and you will see.
Kimbo is entertaining against bums like Afro Puff, Big Mac, and Rasta. Its a different story when he fights well trained fighters.

I saw it at http://www.kimbofightvideo.com. The site says that Kimbo is undefeated but I don't know how they can claim this after watching Gannon
