Start of with a little hot hair and use the cold hair to finish. The cold hair will seal the hair and add shine.

Dry your hair using heat, it makes the finished product look more sleek. Finish it with a shot of cool to seal the cuticle and incourage shine. If it is damage you are concerned about, use a leave in conditioner before you blowdry. There are products made especially for heat styling.

Hot...Cool air won't make it look as good done as hot air, it will be like standing infront of a fan. If you do it with hot air, and a brush, you'll have a shinny hair, with a nice volume and a nicelly done hairstyle.

the cool setting is to set your style. when you dry your hair on hot, switch to the cool setting and it will hold the style better, and help with frizz from humidity. if you are worried about damaging your hair, don't use the high setting. or wash your hair less often so you dont have to dry it all the time.

cool air because hot hair dries out your hair so it leaves your hair flat. cool air doesn't take moisture from your hair so it'll give you more volume. also it won't give you split end nor does it dry out your hair.

Use the Hot... You should ALWAYS use a heat defense spray first before blow drying, flat ironing or curling. you can buy it pretty cheap at walmart, dollar stores, sallys, and salons also usually offer some type

hot is always worst for your hair.. but hay.. thats why we get hair cuts..
if you can stand it.. after shampoo and condition... rinse your hair in cold water which closes the ends..(and hot opens them to let the conditioner sink in) and air dry is always the best..
but who always does whats best...lol..
