well i have known him for about a year...i stay the night at his house and his family loves me

well if your parents are stricked then they wont want you to stay the night at his house if you like him so i wounldnt say anything because if you like him and you no that he likes you then him can do more stuff and more can happen if you stay the night at his house but thats what i would do if i liked a guy and i was aloud to stay the night at his house so for me advise dont tell him unless he tells you that he likes you or gets intiminte

Sounds wonderful.
You don't give your age...but if you are over 21, its OK to stay overnight, but if you are a school student and still living with your parents, there are parent's rules you need to live by.
I do know that guys never marry those they sleep with...so if you are wanting marriage, think of the future.
Like I said, your age is relevant...if you were my age, I would say 'Anything goes' but if you are just starting out on your life...don't wreck it.
Enjoy your friends without getting too heavy...

I would say go for it, but to warn u now, I had a really good friend that understood me, and I started to like him, and so we went out, then it didn't feel right to go out with him, I just wanted to be friends with him. So I dumped him and now he hates me. I don't mean to make u feel bad but good luck.

going from friend to boyfriend/girlfriend is a tough situation. first, be absolutely sure that you want to pursue this. what you should do is talk to him about your feelings and maybe suggest "try out dating." either he will say yes, or, what ususally happens, things get awkward. you may lose him as a friend, but if you think its worth a shot, then go for it.

write a letter to him buy dont send it out and reread it and see if the feelins you have are real then find out how he feels and make sure its okay to cross that line.
