Catholics are Christians.

The marriage will take a great step forward if the party that is not Catholic steps up to the plate and admits that the Catholic spouse is also a Christian.

Pardon me but I have to SCREAM now. You can start with understanding that a Catholic is a Christian!! Also the RC church is closer to the teaching of the original Church that you are. If you are the "christian" and you wife is the Catholic, just say "sorry dear, you are right". And that applies to everything, not just religion. I am serious, that is the only way to keep peace, your wife is always right.

The non-Catholic needs to study the Bible, history, and the writings of the early Church Fathers, and realize that the Catholic Church is the One True Church founded by Christ Himself and come into full communion.

i believe bible-fundamentalists are intolerant of most things not the Catholics, so i think that problem must be pondered upon by the fundamentalists. and by the way, Catholics are Chritsians.
