There is a door that opens to let hot air in from the heater core, or it closes to let cold air from the A/C evaporator. It is called the blend-door. It is probubly controlled by a climate control computor. It tells the electric motor to rotate the door either way. There could be a prob with the computer, or the blend-door motor is stuck or bad, or the control that sets the temp is bad.

i own a repair shop, and probably the first thing id do is make sure its full of coolant,,of some vehicles get low,,they,ll stop giving off heat,,second check to see if the hoses are getting hot on it,,they have to be hot,,for it to give off a good heat, you can try feeling of them, and see if they seem hot enough to give off heat,,if so ,,check the heater control valve,,and see if its working right, this separates the heat from the cold,,if it goes out,,you wont get no heat from it at all, it might be a good idea if you had some one check this one out,,to see ,what is causing this,,good luck hope this help,s.

Did you forget to check your antifreeze level? It could be frozen solid. The only other likely possibility is a thermostat stuck open.

the most trouble-free failure is the resister board. If it is the concern, your fan will artwork in trouble-free words on the severe velocity putting. in case you fan does no longer artwork on any velocity, its maximum in all probability the fan motor or a fuse it truly is blown.
