it depends on what else you eat throughout the day.
if you eat one bowl of special k and hamburgers later on in the day..you're not going to lose weight.
it's always..'eat so and so once a day with a BALANCED DIET and you will lose weight'.
it really depends on the other foods you eat during the day

Ya know I tried that and I didn't really lose any weight, but since I workout with cardio and weights 5 times a week I have seen a huge difference.

it does if you use the recommended amount which is like a cup, whatever it is, it isnt enough to satisfy me cereal cravings, i like to have a fat kid bowl, the special k is really good though with bananas and strawberries, plus for it to be affective you gotta use skim milk or soy

It can work if you cut down on your calorie intake during the day and also exercise - even if it's something as simple as walking.

if your goal is to lose as much muscle as possible thereby increasing your body fat percentage, that would be the best way to go about it...
you have to eat to get fat and you have to eat the right foods to get trim. the body is not so easily fooled by starvation diets to release fat stores...
