Death is only to your physical body. You will leave your physical body when you "die" but your spirit/soul is eternal and never ceases to exist.

If a Christian goes to heaven in the end time-They will be transformed instantly into their new spiritual body that is very much alive. No more death. Those who continue in non-belief will be the ones who will need to worry about death. I am glad that you don't HATE because GOD loves you and believes in you or you never would have been born. I may be stupid go read the pet section and you can see my explanation! GOD is real and knows everything. I wish he would show himself to you so that you to would believe. I care for you as much as any other person on earth.

I do not believe this earthly body will go to heaven. I do believe, as a scientist that there is something beyond this life. Life is energy. The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. While it can be transformed from one form to another, the total amount of energy in the universe remains constant. Scientists in all fields, including astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth science use this idea every day: The total amount of energy remains constant no matter what changes happen in any physical system. With this premise, when we die, the energy that was our life goes on to another form, thus life after death.

Yes, a person has to die in order to enter heaven. I don't believe I'm going to heaven when I die because 'the meek shall inherit the earth' after Armaggedon (God's war to end all wickedness). If you want to read something logical about what the Bible says regarding God's purpose for mankind, check out the following link:

Good question, good thinking, thumbs up!

#1. I used to say we go to heaven when we die. But the Bible does not say that. There is implication about a place called "Paradise" but no direct statement about going to heaven when we die.
#2. At some point we will have access to heaven AFTER Jesus has finished placing the final enemy of God and Jesus away. No flesh and blood will enter heaven. Thats the scripture.
HOWEVER - we who remain faithful to the end will be transformed from mortal to immortal from earthly to spiritual - THEN we would have access to heaven when Jesus completes his mission in the end times.
You or no one else has to agree with me - but this is the Biblical perspective I have found to be true. Ask one of my fellow believer's in Christ to show you where its written that we go to heaven when we die. They cant and their Pastor's cant. Its not there. Just a promise we live on.

Dying right now, or being taken at the 'end times' is different. If I were to die in my sleep tonight, I would go to heaven. If Jesus came back tonight, I would be 'taken up' to heaven. Read Revelations...it explains a lot. But, beware. You must read the bible with a pure want to and not with a secret motive, otherwise, you won't understand it.

what your friend is referring to is the Rapture. the Rapture is when Christ calls all of his true believers up in the clouds to be with Him. Leaving the rest of civilization to go through the Tribulation.
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

I think you're talking about the "rapture" where Christians are supposed to float up to heaven body and all while the sinners are left behind.

There is more to us than our bodies. We have our minds and our souls, neither of which can be seen. Our physical bodies will die and our souls and minds will go on to Heaven to be in
paradise with our Creator.
