So you can't see YOUR doctor for another two days. That doesn't mean that you can't see another doctor, including one in an ER or a walk-in clinic.
If you do have strep throat, it needs to be treated with antibiotics, and that means seeing a doctor. Remember Nike's motto and JUST DO IT.

Go to Urgent Care or the E.R.-if you have strep throat, you need antibiotics ASAP so you don't develop scarlet fever.
Seriously, the fastest way to feeling better is to get the medication needed to fight the infection.

Gargle with salted warm water. Use table salt and warm water and do this often during the day. And do share you glass or anything you use to eat with. AND when you are well, throw you toothbrush away! Germs can linger, and you get sick again!

Go to a minor emergency care clinic, not the emergency room. If you have insurance they should pay for the urgent care center and you should be feeling better soon. Or call your pharmacist and see what he or she can recommend until you can see your physician. Hope you are feeling better soon.
