Mind Body Soul and Spirit? What are these??

So I hear you have Mind Body Soul and Spirit... where did this methodology come from? who uses it? why do people beleive in it? What is Soul and what is Spirit? How do you feed and maintain these? What happens to you when all these are good?

From my understanding, its only mind body and soul.

Pretty much we all have a body, and if we look after it, it will be with us for some time,
We of course all use our minds, learning not only at schools or in the workforce, as well as our bodly functions come from the mind, like blinking and walking talking etc.

After death our bodies and mind return to the earth, the soul or some call human spirit, Carries on.

Some believe it goes to heaven,
Some believe in reincarnation, which will return your human spirit back to learn more. in a new body (Some say Old Soul).
Some believe nothing happens, and that when we die we just die.

Death is going to happen to us be it if your good or bad, its part of nature.
A lot of people believe in the soul / Spirit because they feel there inner self or higher self speaking with them or motivating them.
Some people believe in there soul because of scriptures that tell them they have one.

How to maintain these things?.. Well .
Body needs food and a well balanced diet and exercise.
Mind needs to learn and grow of course not to be damaged within the body so no head trauma would be a good start..
Our soul / Spirit grows with our life experiences and knowledge.
Listening to our inner self and our Gods.

What happens when all these are good.. Well then you have a great body, well developed mind, and i hope a soul / Spirit that shines though even the darkest of times.

The Spirit or Soul

This is described as having no mass, no wave-length,no energy and no time or location in space except by consideration or postulate.
The spirit is not a "thing". It is the "creator" of things.
The usual residence of the soul, (spirit, awareness of awareness unit....YOU) is in the skull or near the body.
YOU are your own immortal soul.
The soul can be in one of four conditions.
1. Entirely separate from a body or bodies.
2. Near a body and knowingly controlling the body.
3. In the body (the skull).
4. An inverted condition, compulsively away from the body and unable to approach it.

There are degrees of each of the above 4 conditions.
The most optimum of these from the standpoint of man, is the second.

The Mind
This is a communication and control system between the spirit and it's (his) environment.
The mind is a network of communications and pictures, energies and masses, which are brought into being by the activities and interactions of the spirit with the Physical Universe and other spirits/individuals.
These activities include the operating of a body and the solving
of problems related to survival and existence.
The mind has 2 Parts:
The Analytical Mind. The keynote of this mind is awareness. One knows what one is concluding and knows what one is doing.
The Reactive Mind. This is a stimulus response mechanism.
This mind acts below the level of consciousness. It never stops operating unlike the Analytical Mind which can be less aware or even completely unconscious.

The Body
A carbon/oxygen engine. This can best be studied in such books as "Grey's Anatomy" and other anatomical texts.

It's called New Age, but I'm not sure where it comes from.

I think people who believe it are more inclined to mysticism (but that's just a guess).

I personally believe in it because to me it makes more sense than other religions, it isn't based on stories but on true existence.

I think the soul and spirit are the same just referred to by different names.
Your soul/spirit is always there and it learns from every moment in your life, it doesn't die like your body or forget like your mind.

I think being happy and following your intuition is the best way to feed the soul. If you do things against yourself you lose a lot of energy and you struggle unnecessarily.

Also, knocking on closed doors doesn't create opportunities, your soul wants you to go with the flow and go to the next open door because that is your path, that's why it sends you hints through your intuition.

If you need to achieve something then just repeat it and it will happen.

When your mind soul and body are balanced you become enlightened, at peace and fully aware of all your surroundings.

That is my interpretation, but I'm sure there are many as it is a very open belief system.

There are lots of books in the new age section of book stores. A simple entertaining introductory one would be "the Celestine Prophecy", right now I'm reading "Anatomy of the Spirit" and it's really good and insightful.

We do not have a soul, we ARE an spirit soul. We possess a body and a mind. The senses, five in number, commands the body through the mind. Our intelligence refrains the mind from committing inappropriate activities, therefore we should train our intelligence so it controls the mind. A controlled mind is one's best friend.

I believe these are the makeup of who we all are.
The mind is the way we think, the body is what we have nutured, grown and aged with, (to name a few) the soul is the essence of our being and the spirit is what god breathed into man.

I also believe Adam was the first man made by God and from "Adam's rib God made "Eve", Our Forefather Adam, God breathed into him, whereby making him a living soul.

initially, confident I have confidence the Bible, i be responsive to the certainty is interior of. God is real omnipresence. God has allowed me to be responsive to that i'm reincarnated. My brother exchange into acquaintances with my "spirit" earlier I have been born. i will thoroughly have confidence eternal existence. that's not a concept, merely like God isn't a concept. component to me does not die.Technically i did not stay earlier, yet component to me did. That component to me is eternal, that section is of component to God. Like I reported, God is real omnipresence. As I see it, a guy or woman's existence is created from 3 issues in existence. A physique, a strategies, and a soul. The strategies is the end results of the physique and the soul. character is a element of the strategies. Soul or spirit are synonymous. The Bible refers to it simply by fact the Holy spirit of God. the only sin which could never be forgiven is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. This i be responsive to ok. God is real omnipresence. physique is the flesh. that's value is to assist the strategies and spirit in existence. If my spirit presented himself to my brother, which section do you think of is maximum mandatory? Which section is eternal? how are you able to nurture that eternal component to your self? If the spirit can remember his previous,does not the strategies carry value for a fashion forward for the spirit? human beings will in all danger thumbs down this. even although, it can not exchange my certainty.
