Well, I guess sex is the ultimate sin. And it doesn't do any good to abstain from sin if you're only abstaining because you don't want to do it! It's got to be reeeeeeally tempting so that abstaining gets you points.
Because, really, can you name a single sin that you don't occasionally want to do? (And don't say "murder" because everyone on Yahoo Answers has considered it at least once or twice. ;p )

Believe it or not our sermon in church was on this very thing. Let me try to explain as my Pastor explained to me. God gave us the ability to make our marriages pleasurable. Yes premarital sex is wrong. I am not as well versed on what the Bible says about homosexuality as I should be so I will not comment on that. Look at it like this....there are according to Hebrew words three kinds of love...the "friendship" love, the "spiritual" love and the love a man and woman share "physical"...now imagine that each of these loves is a flame (a small flame, say from a lighter) God's intention is for you to experience sex as a whole of all of these flames...let's just say a huge bonfire. If you have premarital sex you are only getting the enjoyment of one of these flames (physical)...when you have sex the way God intended you get the whole bonfire! Let me ask you...Has sex without the committment of marriage made your life easier or more complicated? I hope this helps you understand. Maybe this will help you more...go to www.godinventedit.com watch the whole video and see where you end up...you might be suprised ( totally not what you think). It is from church and about the sermon we heard today.

Sex wasn't meant simply for procreation. God intended for a man and a woman to leave their families and to join and become one flesh. (See Genesis 2:24) It was designed to draw a husband and wife together. Sex was designed to be pleasurable, just the way it is. But, there is a lot of pain that comes from premarital sex, adultery, and homosexuality. Christians would call these a "misuse" of sex. This pain comes from broken relationships, lack of trust, etc. This is a big issue and I'm sure lots of people won't agree, but the Bible makes the case that sex was meant to be in the safety of marriage and it was meant to be good.

Giving birth is painful because of Eves sin in the garden of Eden. God didn't just make sex to procreate, He also made sex so a married man and woman can enjoy being together sexually.

Sex is not suppose to be sin "Premarital Sex"is..
It leads to other Sins or bad deeds..
If you look logically you'd get what it means,at least in part(ever heard of frustrated people?)
Sex between Husband and wife is actually a good deed in my religion:)
Talk about Logic, you mean men sharing pain of sex and women enjoying alone the So called pleaserable experiance without pain, well,i tell you one thing!Human race could have been endangered species by now...!!!

The Bible tells why we we need to give birth with pain. All the pain is well worth of the pain. When I had my daughter on my tummy, all the pain was wiped out from my mind.
And sex is a gift from God to married couple. Well, it can be painful too : )

Okay, God made sex to a wonderful pleasurable expirence, within His boundries. Read the book of Song of Solomon.
Second, birth was made to be painful by God Himself as a punishment to all women for the sin of Eve. You can also find that in the Bible, book of Genesis.

God originally wanted sex to be pleasurable and child birth wasnt going to be bad. It wasnt until the curses came along that God made child birth hard and men were cursed to work hard for their food. Mankind created the curses by virtue of their sin, not God.

If sex were painful, I doubt a desire to procreate would be strong enough motivation to engage in intercourse. We would have the opposite of the situation we have now, there would be fewer births resulting in the death of our species over time.

Not really. If both men and women were to find sex painful, the women would get all the "pleasure" in the childbirth. What would be in it for men? If sex were painful to women and pleasureable to men, there would be a lot more rapes. Instead "God created" the brilliant minds who came up with birth control pills and laytex condoms! Yay!
