Christians are human too. Some may become provoked into speaking vulgarly. They don't mean to and for myself, whenever I speak something foul, I immediately ask forgiveness. Knowing I said something that God wouldn't like, gives me a big sense of guilt. I guess that's the difference in a Christian and a non-Christian. We do have a conscience and try to live according to the way God would want us to do. Everyone sins and some more than others, but by being a Christian, we have a forgiving God. Oh, and yes, some Christians have from habit before becoming a Christian cursed big time. It is hard for them to break the habit over-night. We all have to pray for strength to overcome the ways of sin.

No genuine Christian would even attempt to placed a Curse on yet another. in truth genuine Christians could curse no human being. in the experience that they do? Their no longer a Christian. And in case you sense that you're or are not any further a Christian? bypass to Church and locate out. God Bless Ya, Chicago Bob imasinner there is more suitable excitement in Jesus in a unmarried day. Than there is in the international 365/24/7 i recognize, i tried them both. Numbers 6:24-26

Well, I live in the US but I don't curse at all. I can't help that my language is full of curse words. I didn't put them there! I think it is totally wrong to assume that the US is a Christian country, and it's definitely wrong to call Germany a Christian country (aren't 50% of them Atheists?) There are plenty of non-Christians here (I myself am not a Christian) and it was probably non-religious people who started those words.

Countries aren't Christian, people are. Many claim to be Christians when they're just counterfeit. Jesus said his followers would be known by the love they show, and yet look at all the "Christians" backing the wars. True Christians know that we're 'not to let a rotten saying proceed from our mouth'. If you ask for a dollar, you don't want Monopoly money. God asks us to serve him with our whole self and our mouth is part of that, but most people confuse the fact that God loves everyone with God accepting everything!

Christian countries, but maybe not Christians. There are many who do curse - some seriously and others just slang words. Everyone needs to watch his language and try to do better in the future. I'm sure you do things which are wrong; why do you do those?

Well I consider myself a Christian and slipped when I was helping my 12 y/o daughter organize her room and because I was getting a little frustrated and a lot tired of being in there going on 4 hours. I blurted out the 'F' word and I was so ashamed when my daughter said "Mom, you said the "F" word." Ugh, I really was in a weak moment and should of known better and rely on God to strengthen me so I don't lose my self-control. We need Him every minute of the day, most people have done without Him for so long that is just as easy to hop the fence in a weak moment-I am embarrassed to say, but am being honest here.

Because they are not living the way they should. Some people call themselves Christians, and don't want to live the way God intended. All of the United States is not a Christian nation. It was founded on the Bible. People have turned their backs on God.

haha, good question, but Christians aren't labled because of where they come from, but from where they stand on certain beliefs... I hail from Ireland first, and America second, (was born in Ireland, and was transfered over 6 months later) But just because I am from Ireland it don't mean I believe in little green men and big pot'o-gold. Amercia has a ton of cuss words, probably because most people cuss, me myself and I, don't see much reason or call for it though. Germany, well you will have to pick your own battles with them, but I wouldn't rank them in the Christian text exactly. Niether would I Amercia, but pick your choice on that one of course. Just because I hail from Amercia doesn't mean I will cuss, or believe in God. (even though I do) Sure we have tons of cuss words in our language...tons of cuss words in the bible actually. But its a human thing to take a normal word and turn it into something unfit to speak... for example the B word is of course refering to a female dog, we turned it into something else... the same for D word Damnation... and S word, and so on, right down' to the A word which is of course a donkey. See, it isn't the word themselves, but rather the people behind it. God didn't design cuss words, we made them up as we went along... A** was a perfectly acceptable thing to say back in the day, because you were refering to your Donkey.... So my point is, cuss words are what you make them...and don't rule out certian countrys just because christians are "supposed" to come from them
God bless

Hello Pretty (dumb),
Don't take too much offense from that but in this respect may it apply for that is how ignorant you are when saying things like this against Christians.
I have been a Christian for much of my life. (60)
I don't use curse words. The other Christians I know don't use curse words. I never hear Christians using curse word in their conversions. So I'm wondering if you even know who the Christians are?
The answer for cursing goes to this man. SATAN. Look at him not Christ men and women.><>

That's like asking why Christians sin. Because they are sinners. Christians aren't perfect, and the only person who ever walked on water was Jesus Christ. If Christians could achieve perfection for themselves, there would be no need for Christ's sacrifice.
