this could be so many possibilities-- he may like you or he might feel akward about it. Just talk to him about it, say that if he doesn't like you back then oh well just go back to the way things used to be, but if he does like you, go with it.

I have done the same thing. I loved my best firned for 8 years, told him, and we kinda didn't talk for a while, but got closer again, and then i gave him a note nt to long ago, and he didn't do anything. He acted like it was nothing. I was mad, but we still hang out, just ask him if he likes you, or something. I would, I did ,

Maybe he was totally surprised by your approach that he doesn't know what to do. Just go call him on the phone,that way he wont see you, then he will get the courage to tell you what's up!
