is he a weak theif? (i.e. lions steal more food from the hyena than hyenas steal from them)
will he kill all christians because lions kill the cubs in their harem which arent their own?
or did the old middle eastern pseudo-wisemen chose the lion because lions attack their livestock?

no factory, lions are lazy thieves, hyenas are better hunters than lionesses that's why lions steal from them.

lion is usually the symbol of "power" or "greatness". hyena has a reputation of being a scavenger and cowardly [though not true]. so of coarse people who believe in the religion are going to use the lion to represent thier "god". i dont think people back then even know how lion society worked....they just saw OMG LION! RUN!

I think it is a lion's symbol because Lion represents sun. It represents strength, power, dominion, bravery.
Hyenas are thought to be unclean, cowardly and greedy. It is a symbol of greed.

The lion is the stronger of the two species.
Because of the male lion's mane and the size difference, the lion would be perceived as being more regal.
Hyena's aren't exactly pretty, so they'd be relegated to being Satan's pets, rather than God's.

Who said God's symbol is a lion? The last I heard it was the lamb of God. A defenseless lamb, that needs a shepard. David killed a lion and a bear while protecting his flock of sheep.

i believe your first is wrong statement is false considering that hyenas are scavengers and lions are hunters also the lion is the king of his domain no other messes with him no one not even his women mess with him humans could take a lesson from lions seeing as how they take care of there families and our society is fallen more and more

Methinks your talking about the symbols of the tabernacle. But do we understand those symbols? Fact: That is no image of "God." We as someone said compare him as the sheep-herder. Now isn't that strange? No sword. Just a rod. A stick to be more precise. And no armor. (Soldiers wore armor...) Just a sheep-herder keeping over the sheep. Maybe you should atleast try to be neutral next time you indulge into the "good book."
