It was good, but reminded me of, "Drumline and You Got Served."

it also reminded me of Rize. But the overall concept and storyline was played well. the characters reall got into their roles. i loved it.

I saw it Friday - I'm old and saw it with my son's 19 year old girlfriend - we both liked it.
I would have liked to have seen more stepping in it personally because that was the great part of the movie. Its getting bad reviews from the pro's but from a lot of people that go see it - they are giving it good reviews.
Its a classic story - predictable - yes - but if you like to see energetic and creative step dancing its the show to see.

So was it good even if it reminded you of other movies? Did the fancy footwork draw you into the movie? All those moives, Drumline, You Got Served, Step Up, Stomp the Yard, etc, they all mean the same in terms of content. Story wise they may be different but it can't compare to the concept of it all. Honestly, I would probably get drawn into the whole fancy footwork and dance routine and what not but at the end of the movie you will be left with one thing and that is It reminded you of other movies. So you simply can't rate this movie with a Satisfaction Guaranteed because all in all you won't be satisfied.

Stomp the yard was a kool movie...even though the plot line wasnt as strong but the dancing was reali kool...

i just saw it today! it was awsome! it had a few ppl from drumline in it. but i thought it was great!
