I have braids, but not extensions. I use dread wax to hold my ends. I don't know about the extensions...

This may be old-school but they used to burn them or dip the ends in hot water... but that was such a long time ago they did that, I don't know what they do now.

Take a few strands of hair, make sure its strong enough to pull without breaking, make a loop around the braid and pull the tail of the of hair through the loop, repeat that a few times until have a tight knot, this is similar to how the africans do it, and this should be done during the process of you having your hair braided not after..

Sew in some fishing line to keep them together. Invisible, and it works for my dreadlocks.
