Have you ever felt that you didnt belong in your family because your the one always getting yelled at and you basically do everything around the house (like cleaning) and the one time that you dont do it, you get yelled at, when your sibling mine happening to be 5 years younger than me and 13 that doesnt do a thing but sit on the laptop. do you ever feel like you just dont belong cause your not as perfect, and you dont get as good of grades as your sibling. god i hate this

Yeah i still feel this way and im 24. All families are diffrent and usally the oldest. im guessing thats you in this case. Im the oldest to. are depened on more than the younger ones. You have more resoponsbilites and you always feel like the odd one out. I made it worse when i got older. I developed morals growing up too ya know dont judge people on the color of their skin or what people say bout them. Things like that also i developed this need to help others. So i really got the black sheep label. There will be two things that can happen in your life. Your family will either except you as is and apperciate you help. Or they will take advantage of you and eventually black ball you because you dont bend to their needs and wishes. Sadly the second happened to me. But my bro and sis and mother have accepted me as is they get frustrated with me but they good people. My dads family have nothing to do with me sadly. And thats fine because I get to be me. Remeber that things will start changind here soon and it wont just be the house work or respobsblities its gonna be choices and decisions. Always stick up for what you belive and people who truley love you will stick by your side and ***** the ones that dont! best of luck and hang in there!

Don't do so much. Tell your family you don't appreciate being treated like a slave and your sister could should half of the work.
If she is 13 and you're 18 - you will be out of the house soon and not have to worry about the problem anymore. Hopefully, for your sake, your younger sister will be doing all of your 'slave' work.
Concentrate on your grades, graduate from high school, get a job and move out and then don't worry about who's doing the 'slave' work anymore.

I say talk to your parent. Is the reason you can't do as well in school is because you are too busy around the house? Your sibling has every advantage.

it will get better just give it a chance i used to get yelled at all the time even though i wasn't doing anything wrong but now i have moved out of my parents place and everything is fine just wait until you are old enough to move out the go don't go to far from your parents to start with though cause trust me to start with its hard

Some parents play favorites.
My family it was my sister; she could do no wrong.
My wife's family it is her brother. BOTH my wife and her sister could do NOTHING right.
You cannot change them. When you grow up, move out, try NOT to make their mistakes.
PS Married for 30 years and the parents STILL play favorites.

I had this feeling all my childhood. I still do but now that I'm out of the house I don't have to deal with it anymore.

i think ur parents expect more from u becouse ur older and will son be taking bigger responsibilities . it might be hard for u to talk to them the way u feel but just try to
