He is telling you that right now he does not want to be in a serious relationship which is not a bad thing. I admire him for telling you. He could have just strung you along trying not to hurt your feelings, but he would be the one to suffer being in or doing something that was not the best for him. Go on, you will live to meet some else. Men and women come a dime a dozen, and out of that dozen, there is a prince charming waiting just for you. Be patient.

Several things may have happened. For one he may of thought that the relationship was going to fast and he wasnt ready for it. Second possible scenario would be that he wants to be free and unattached. As for what you can do, I would just see if he would like to be friends. If you really care about him then friends will be better than nothing at all.

well, if he broke up with you and said that he didn't want the responsibility, then just move on. that just tells you that he isn't worth being your bf. a bf should have some responsibility in a relationship and not just put it all on the girl

Did you talk about marriage or something like that?
YOu need to wait until he calm, then find a chance to be with him again. And don't forget to make him feel free of responsibility.
Good luck :)

Breaking up is never easy. I do think there is responsibility when it comes to another person and their feelings. Be thankful he was honest with you and know that it's his loss not yours. I'm sure there is someone that would be more than happy to take on that responsibility.

Get over him. He can't handle the responsibility to a woman (or girl). At least he recognized that enough to tell you so, instead of pretending he's a man already. (He's clearly not yet.)

It's an excuse to get out of the relationship. Just move on.

Put his name on the birth certificate and get him to pay child support?
I'm just guessing that's what he doesn't want to be responsible for.
