Everyone is at a different place in their journey and have different needs in order to be spiritually nourished. Everyone is naturally attracted to the belief system whereby they can learn the most for that particular place. Just as a third grader cannot flourish in a fifth grade environment, neither can a tenth grader excel in a college environment. All paths lead to the same destination. Some are shortcuts and others are long and winding roads. Yet all will "graduate". Everyone will eventually find their way back to the kingdom of Heaven.

Because everyone believes there own religion to be true and not everyone agrees on one religion. Not all religions say there is one God. Many religions also have more to do with culture and tradition than just belief in God. Different regions around the world have different traditions therefore there are lots of different "religions" although many are the same because they believe in God.

Here is the answer for your question from the mouth of the one God. Now will you choose to accept it? That is the next question.
Matt 7:13-16
13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

People tend to focus on only the part of Gods word that best applys to their own beliefs. Their for you have many different people teaching many different parts of the same message and nothing else. So they become their own "religion"

They are human made, basically it's individual perspectives, and yes only one true God.
In the end we all would see the truth, and all bend our knees, and the ones would know they were wrong by the feeling of tremendous pain in their souls.

Because there isn't only one god. Anyone who says that obviously has never studied any comparative religions. Do you guys who believe that all gods are one in the same honestly think that Odin, Zeus, and Jesus are all the same?
