alright that does not make any sense. The reality is that someone will only feel the amount of love they are willing to. So for him to say to you that you have to prove your love to him means that he has no idea what love actually is. It is not something that is proven. Trust is built, relationships grow. Love is created not proven. It is not in the brain it is in your emotions, chemicals. It is not capable to prove love to someone. he is not being true to you. He is using this as a way to get you to do as he wants and to create an insecurity within you around him so that he is more capable of keeping you under his wim. Sit and talk with him. Share with him how you feel and what you have learned from being with him and from the time apart. From the relationship you two had. Why you want to be with him and in what why you have grown. Share with him all the things you like about him and all the ways you have learned to be more of who you want to be with him. Then wait to see how it goes. IF he is looking for more proof than you laying your heart out there and being utterly vulnerable and honest then walk. In the pain and the disbelief walk. Knowing that it hurts cus you are so great at loving. That someone will know this, and be the right one for you. IF he realizes that you are so much more than he ever dreamed and starts to really respect you and learn with you then you have a great opportunity here.

there is no way to 'prove' love. love is an emotion that you either have or don;t have and only time and togetherness will provide any measure of how much one person loves another. Oh, and all too often when a guy asks a girl to prove love he really is asking her to have sex. Now that may not be the case here but just in case it is, feel free to tell him he ain't gettign none since having sex does not prove love.

If you have to prove your love for him, then he isn't worth what you have to offer him. Be careful. Some guys can use this tactic to use you in the physical sense. Don't fall into that trap. Do you want him back that badly? Remember, if it includes you doing something that you're not ready for or need to do for this relationship to come together again, then I'd let it go for good.

never give up - make sure you show him just how committed you are. If you love him - show your love in the best, most out-in-the-open ways. Let others know, so he knows it's not a secret between just you two, and you don't care who knows! Just that he knows <3 If you keep trying and trying, (sincerely and a lot,) without much success after a long while - the hell with him. He's not ready himself & you deserve better > someone who can forgive your mistakes and love you for accepting it + trying... gud luk!!!!

If he doesn't realize that you love him, don't bother with him. He is most likely looking for sexual favors or purchased items.
