Well it depends on what he did. If you're in for 12 months, it's probably at least semi-serious. I don't think I'd be interested in anyone who'd have that situation in the first place...

Having visitors at the jail or prison I'm sure is uplifting when all you see are walls or fences. Seeing a familiar face who brings news from the outside would keep my spirits up and help with my dealing with depression from being cut off from society. Knowing someone cares and is waiting for you would help shorten the time mentally. It's like two are carrying the load. I hope your gf will come and visit you and support you through these upcoming months. Whatever happens when you are out I hope you will stay out and learn from this experience. Life is short make the best of it! God bless you during these months and your future. Follow the rules and you will make it through this year.

12 months aint nothing. County time is two for one. You'll be out in 6 months if its County and 12 months if its State.

That depends on the charges but they gave you jail time (probably well deserved). If I was your girlfriend, I would not wait for you, visit you or stick-around. You chose crime over a decent life now you pay the consequences.

Well i had a boyfriend that went to jail after we started dating. I went to visit him every Saturday. and i wrote to him every chance i had. thought i was in love. When he got out of jail he turned out to be the sorriest excuse for a boyfriend i have ever had. He was not nice to me anymore. He used me to keep him company while he was in jail and knew i was there for him just to have him get out and beat the hell out of me.He didn't work for three years we were together and we slept ed in tents in someones back yard. No i would never be there for another jail bird again.

If your girlfriend care about you, and cared about you before, more than likely she will visit you. I had and friend that went to jail for stealing, but I did the suffering because I had to take time out of my schedule to go to the jail house to visit him. Why didn't he think of the consequences before?

I hope I never have to be in your position, but if I was, I wouldn't want my gf to come see me. Why would I want her to come see me in a cage?
