Ok well if you have a history, then you may have a problem. But you're friend is WAYYYYY TO SKINNY!!! Don't strive for that kind of weight. Ok well buy a fun dance workout tape. I use the "Crunch" tapes by Jennifer Galardi. She makes exercise fun and I've lost 32 pounds thanks to her! Denise Austin also makes DVDs and those are fun and effective!! And when you're eating, remember: PORTION CONTROL. It's not what you eat, it's how much you eat. You can also look up dieting tips and exercises on Google, I found some great stuff on there.
Good luck with your weight-loss journey. And when you lose all that weight, you will feel SO accomplished! It's one of the best feelings knowing that all of that weight is off of your back and again, I wish you luck!

It's good that you want to do something, that's the most important thing for living a healthy lifestyle.
Are there any sports you want to try? Those are an excellent way to get a good workout and have fun while making new friends.
Also, ask your parents if they can help you stat a healthy eating plan, and talk to your doctor about how many calories you need a day. They should give you good advice and hopefully your parents will help you prepare healthy meals.
I wouldn't worry much about your weight, either. Just try to live healthy, and be active. I don't think dieting is advised at your age, just try to maintain your weight and you'll grow into it, though it sounds like you don't have much to be worried about at this point.

Obesity could be a genetic problem and typical dieting isn't going to help, only complicate things. You and your parents need to talk with your doctor about your concerns and get counseling with a good nutritionist and medical advice and treatment.
Don't start fad dieting at your age (or ever). They'll ruin your metabolism and you'll spend the rest of your life struggling with your weight. Ignore billboards and look at pictures of Marilyn Monroe. For decades she's been the beauty all women envy. Decades from now she still will be. She was a size 14.

here's what you do. stay away from soda, stay away from large quantities of bread and potatoes and other carbohydrates. a little every now and then wont hurt. when you exercise the best way to lose way is to walk not run. Running just builds muscle. What you can also do is if you find something you can do manually instead of a remote get up and do it. try to fit exercise into your daily life. an important tip to remember: try to stay at 2500 calories per day. it takes 2500 calories on a normal person to maintain weight, anything less is excellent.
hope i helped

you're not HUGE. you're almost a normal weight. you're 10 pounds "overweight", but that's because you're already developing. try to lose maybe 5 or 10 pounds you'll be fine :)
(sorry if that sounds rude, i don't mean for it to)
