One day you just won't notice anymore. You will be out with friends, or out with a guy, and you will notice that this person really enjoys your company and totally wants to be with you. You will realize that you want to be around him too. Then you will start to realize that your ex lost his chance by dumping you, and that you really don't want to be around someone like that anyway.
Hope it helps... have faith in yourself, and have confidence that you will heal, and you will move on, and you will do so with the man of your dreams, if you let him find you.

Forget dating for a while; you will only make yoruself and whomever you date miserable until you get past yoru hangups about the prior relationship. Instead develop some friendships, partici[ate in cool activities, get active in school or church activities and take up running or whatever to get or stay fit. And all the while feel free to do things that are fun and exciting. By the time you are ready there will be lots of nice friends around you and one or two who might well be interested in dating you.

You should be beginning to heal by now...make the choice to move on and let go. It won't happen until you want it to. Why allow someone else to rent space in your head or heart for free? You can bet he's not somewhere pining over you.
Busy yourself with friends, work or school (whichever is applicable), take up a hobby, do volunteer work, etc. Whatever it takes to keep him off your mind until the thought of him doesn't make your stomach tight or your heart hurt.
Good luck to you...know that there are many happy times ahead!

Make yourself feel good on the outside before you work on the inside. If you look like crap, you will only make yourself feel worse. You have two choices. down or up. Take the time and reinvent yourself and make yourself into the image you want people to see even if you are hurting inside. Be around friends, and cry, yell, etc. You need to do it to release. Be strong ok?

Relationships are addicting. Now you are in withdrawal. Whenever you hear "our song" or are reminded of him in other ways try to avoid it. When you find yourself thinking about him try to think of something else. Time heals all wounds.
