Does anyone know how I would be able to get in contact with prison inmates in the US?

Um, well lets see do you want to talk to the child molesters or the murders??
Trying to come up with the perfect crime??
Call the prison of choice and ask them. They would know the most.

1. Find out the prison that the person you want to right is in, and get the address. May also ask if the person has an prison identification number associated with them.
2. Write the letter and put it in a sealed envelope.
3. Address it to the inmate you are writting at the address you obtained for the prison unit they are assigned.
4. Drop the letter in the mail, and have a good day.

any inmate in general or a specific inmate? they have prison pen pal sites, or you can look under the Department of corrections for a given state and usually find a person you are looking for.

Hopefully you are joking. Too many people get sucked into the strange world of pedophiles and murderers. Unless you are an older, well thought out person with a specific agenda, do not contact prisoners for social calls!

You have to have the inmates number all inmates have a number and it must be used to correspond with them and you must be on there list of contacts or your letter will never get through to them...

Well, if you know the correctional place they are in and their DOC number you address it to them in their name followed by their DOC number and address it to the prison they are located. It should get to them.

Stay away from them! There is nothing glamorous about them or the life they lead. They will use you if given a chance.
