I'm trying to find a good method for taking all the supplements that I want. I had heard that a lot of dietary fiber can block the abosorption of a lot of stuff. I would be taking calcium + D and B-6.

Phytates and Oxalates in fiber bind minerals such as calcium. However, they do not block all of the calcium/mineral absorption. In fact, adequate calcium intake is important because it does bind to oxalates, preventing their absorption. This is important, because excessive oxalates in the urine can drive the formation of kidney stones.

Unless you are taking fiber supplements, just take your vitamin and mineral supplements with your meals.

Best wishes and good luck.

P.S. Nutrients work in harmony. It may be wise to take a complete multi-vitamin/mineral supplement to ensure a balanced intake of these critical nutrients.
