my aunt lives with me and my mom... because her house burned down... and ever since i turned like 9 shes hated me shes lived here for like 10 years now.... im 13 now too....... me and her son had chores we would do but ever since i turned 9 she has dumped all of the chores on me..... her son does drugs and everything like that... and she treats him like an angel.... and she treats me like trash.... my mom thinks she does it because i get straight A's and i do a lot better i everything than him... and hes 16... so more les she thinks my aunts jealous...... do u think my mom is right or y do u think she does this????

I think she is jealous. Maybe she's hard on you because she wasn't hard enough on her son, and look at who he is now. She's helpless with him but, you---there is an opportunity to save. Do I think any of these are excuses for her behavior? Absolutely, not. And I think your mom needs to talk to her about it. Your mom probably thinks it' silly how she's acting and that it's so outrageous, it can't be taken seriously but, it's obvious it hurts you. If that doesn't work---try talking to your aunt yourself. Or write her a letter. Also, bear in mind...she probably helps your mom out. So don't start a fight over this---tell her your feelings. Don't tell her how much of a jerk she is. (even though she is one) ha ha! Good luck!

I'm going to say your mom is right. After all she understands your aunt very well since she has lived with your family for so long.
Is it fair? Absolutely not. But I would guess that you're a responsible person and that is why your aunt turns to you. Feel sorry for your cousin. He's learning nothing.........and that's what he's going to have to show for his life........nothing.
Just keep on doing what you're doing. Get good grades, help around the house. And it will turn out very well for you.

I think your mom is right, she could also be like that because he is her child and your not. but...
Why is she living with you still?
Why is your mother letting you pull all the weight in chore's?
Has your mom ever said anything to her about it?
I would never let my anyone treat my child any different than I treat theirs.
