Why not get one with a detachable face that you can take with you when you leave the vehicle?
Invest in an alarm maybe too.

Moving is not an option as demonstrated recently here in Charlotte. Sometimes kids will hit cars just for fun. Follow the others' suggestions: get an alarm and a detachable face radio.

If you are going to actually sleep in the car, then do so at truck stops. Rest areas are good for a pit stop and to stretch your legs, but only during the day and not at night. In some areas, you will be forced to rent a room for the night, or be faced with 3 to 5 days of jail time for vagrancy in a vehicle, and also face having your vehicle impounded. Call AAA and ask them for a route map that shows all the truck stops and rest areas on them, and ask them to recommend a few cheap motels as well. They provide this service for free.

My husbands stuff got stolen 3 times you can't stop it! He doesn't put the stuff in his truck anymore. We both just leave the stock cd and radio now. It's not worth it!
PS. He had an alarm and it was by passed!

is that the same radio that gets stolen all the time? if so just ask the person you get it back from to stop stealing it.

Put razor blades underneath the car radio with crazy glue, when try go 2 pull it out, well you know the rest.

Try a alarm system. Park in well lit areas. Buy a BIG SNAKE!
