lower your heat setting on the straightner..make sure you use a good heat protector spray before you straighten..comb out the curl..Make sure you trim your bangs so that you keep them healthy

I use a hair serum that protects my hair. It is made by Garnier Fructis. Its called weightless anti-frizz serum. But if you use the serum apply it sparingly and usually just to the ends of the hair. Aveda also makes some products that you can spray on your hair to protect it. Other than that maybe you are just holding the straightener in one spot for too long.

To protect your bangs from heating tools, use a heat protection spray. My personal favorites are the CHI Heat Protection Spray or the Bumble & Bumble Heat Protection Spray.

lower the heat on the straightener and use revival and repair serum. try a new style like side swept so you don't always have to straiten them. make sure to condition them too!

get a straitener that you can adjust the temperature. and try not to do it when your hair is wet, or with any products in. especially hairspray.
