It's not that my mom doesn't support, she just doesn't think that I'm good enough and doesn't seem to care one way or another....just doesn't want me to be hurt.....so HELP ME!....I want to prove myself!

Yes, of course, listen to your mother. BUT...

You can always check out Craig's List (http://www.craigslist.org - go to the city nearest you). There are usually plenty of auditions in the TV/Film/Radio (help wanted) or Talent (gigs) sections.

Naturally, you should use a search engine (like Google or Yahoo!) to find websites that post auditions. The web might be your best bet -- I don't know of any publications that cover anywhere in Colorado.

Also, I don't know how it is in other states, but I live in Chicago, and here we have the Chicago Film Office and the Illinois Film Office (two separate entities, both to help the film industry). You might want to look into Colorado state government and see if there are any helpful film links - they'd probably have audition listings.

If your mom said no, listen to her, until you are old enough to find your own auditions. You are too young to audition and you will need your mom's permission if you get an acting job. Listen to your mom. Your mom will have to sign the contract for you, if you get an acting job. Did you THINK about that?
