Yes, that is very overweight. Your ideal weight is between 115 and 125 pounds. However, DON"T starve yourself. Eat healthy and exercise. Talk to your doctor to find the right eating plan and exercise plan that's RIGHT for YOU. Lose the weight in a healthy way, the best way to do this is what I said, talk to your doctor. Keep motivated. If you have friends that are overweight as well maybe you all can start a group and help each other through the weight loss and then keeping the weight off. Good luck in beoming healthy!

According to the Body Mass Index scale you are "obese". Your ideal weight should fall between 108 and 132 pouds.

You still have a few years of growing to do but you need to get your weight under control now and develop good nutritional habits. You certainly don't want to be a fat adult and statistics show that overweight teens typically grow up to be overweight adults.

Your parents should be very supportive in helping you lose weight. Consult with your family doctor and make sure you don't have any underlying health issues (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) Weight Watchers is a great program but since you are so young you would need to have a doctor's note and/or your parent's permission.

You certainly can begin doing something about your weight before you go to your doctor. Start by walking briskly for 30 minutes per day. You can do this all at one time or in ten minute intervals. Start slow and work yourself up to 60 minutes per day. Exercise is key to making sure that you lose weight and keep your muscles toned so you won't be all flabby!

I personally know how hard it is to lose weight ... I've had to do it since I was a teenager!

Here's an incentive to help you understand one of the downsides of being overweight ... as a teenager your skin still has enough elasticity to shrink as you lose weight. When you get older, you just get wrinkles and saggy boobs and a saggy bottom. No amount of exercise will stop this when you're an adult. Plastic surgery is expensive and extremely painful. Find your figure now before it's too late. Besides, do you want to be known as the "fat chick"? You deserve better!

Well It does sound like you're overweight. You aren't really that tall and that's probably more than you want to weigh. Now, I do know that muscle weights more than fat so maybe you have a large frame and are very muscular and that would make a difference. I think it depends on how you feel too. Do you feel healthy and can you get around good. Do you exercise. Ask yourself these questions and then you'll probably know the answer.

for girls the general rule is that for every inch you are more than 5' you should weight 5-8 pounds more than 100 ponds. So at 5'4 you should weigh between 120 and 130 pounds. ask a gym teacher, a friend who is more active, a parent or look online for tips on how to eat healthier and be more active.

Yes.... You should see your Dr. and find make a plan to get healthy.. Get rid of this problem while you are young because the older you are the more health problems you are going to have. you could end up with diabetes, heart problems and later on you might have problems having children ( if a girl) Good luck. If you do try to loose weight .... do it through a balanced diet and exercise.

Try to keep a good out look and keep a check on other problems like depression. If you feel bad about yourself it will lead to over eating. I don't want you to feel bad about youself.

OMG Yes it is! I am 21 and 5'5" and weigh 120 lbs. !

I don't mean to be mean or anything but it is the truth and the truth sometimes hurts. Just cut down on foods and skip meals. And do NOT eat after 7:30 pm -- because that is when you gain the most. Also try going to the gym and always be active. And also talk to your doctor. She can help you a lot!

180 is overweight for most adults, so unless you have very large bones at a height or 5' 3" I would think so
