Evolution is a process which takes ages, and the evolutionary process in dogs has stopped since human-guided selective breeding started. Or you can look at it this way: humans have been guiding the evolution of the canine species with a heavy hand. The puppies are black AND white because of the types of genes which change the dog's color. Both black and white might both be dominant genes, which would explain why both colors shine through, instead of blending.

No, evolution would be one dog having an advantage over the other. Like the black dog being less visible and the white ones all being killed off. If the black and white dogs have an advantage over other dogs and someday there are nothing but black and white dogs, then i guess you could say the dog has evolved into a black and white dog. for now, its just a variation, like blue eyes or brown hair in people.

No.
They were still dogs, right?
Dogs are a special case because man has purposefully bred down wolves that, in nature, would never breed because they would never have made it to become the
alpha-s of a pack.
To prove evolution with a dog, you would have to have it have offspring that were not only not like dogs, but not in the least like wolves........raise some 3' tall dogs in 2' deep water, for a couple of hundred generations, and see if anything like seals are born.

I wonder why when a black person and a white person have a baby it doesn't come out spotted but when a black dog and a white dog have a puppy it comes out spotted (sometimes).

No, it is one observation. You need to look at hundreds of observations like that to establish phenotypic genetics in your breed of dogs. Put that together with the fossil record, and look at environmental considerations and that is evolution.

It's called breeding. Check a Punnett square.
Evolution would be like the mutation of the gene CCR5, which gives certain people protection against HIV.

Evolution is the making of new species. Even though they made a mutt (or maybe a purebred if they are the same), it's still a dog.
It doesn't prove evolution, in fact nothing does, even the most advanced scientists still consider it a theory.
