. Ok is it odd for a guy to have multiple names? Ok I met this guy and he tells me his name is Christian. We have went out a couple times and he is very fun and seems extremely compassionate. I am new to Houston and he has taken me many places and I have met tons of new people though him but what is distressing it that every place we go people know him either as Christian or 2 other names that are no were close to being the same. I’ve asked him about it and he explains people know him by different names in different areas because of school or work. Am I being paranoid or is he being shady? Please help.

He is being shady, many men use different names so that they can not be located again. They do not show up in phone directories, computer searches, etc... They do not want a long term relationship, and this is there way of "hiding" from one. If you are really interested in this guy, ask him to go to his apartment, snoop around, see what you find. He may also be married!

Casually speak to the people who 'know' him. Ask some open-ended questions, just feel them out a bit. Make sure to talk to males and females. Do it when he is not around - but keep the questions innocent. See what comes up. Then follow your instincts.

I definatly wouldn't trust him. He might see you as vulnerable because you just moved there, and he thinks he can take advantage of you. It is definatly questionable that he has different names...

i would be very careful if i were you. Did you ask him what his "real" name is? Maybe you can tesingly get him to show you his license?
