I would go to an esthetician to have the pore contents extracted, followed by a facial. She'll recommend a skin care regimine for your skin type. Also, try St Helene's Mint Julep mask. When I use it, I can see the difference after one use. If you use a thin layer over your T zone, you can actually see little oil spots where each pore is, it's a trip!

I used to have alot of problems with acne, when I was in my mid teens. I went to the doctor and he didn't perscribe anything, but he told me to use a mild soap like Dove, to wash, because it is less harsh and abrasive than other soaps. Oxy and all those only dry up your skin because it has rubbing alcohol in it. Try Dove Morsterizer soap. I am 34 now. I only get them around my time of the month. It's hormones.

Causes of Adult Acne: There are a number of factors that may initiate adult acne. Stress can be a major factor, via the production of cortisol, a steroidal hormone that promotes acne. Coffee consumption, like stress, promotes the production of cortisol. Other issues may be involved, such as smoking, low consumption of free fatty acids, hormone supplement, etc.

If you have large pores that makes your face look sorta pocky, you might try an astringent like witch hazel to draw them up. Remember hot water opens them for cleaning and then cold water to close them back up. Between the witch hazel and a cold rinse, they should shrink. I would think.

I would suggest using Pond's pore strips....and then after cleansing each morning, use a good toner....Nutragena makes some really good skin products specifically for reducing large pores. Good luck!

Medical grade glycolic acid and Vit C solutions from the derm. office help. so does the light chemical peels that require no down time. You have to be religious about using the routine, and I assure you within time, I have seen dramatic differences. They also do them/sell them at cosmetic offices. Good luck.
