Yes. Overcleaning can irritate the skin & dry it out.

Too much cleansing can dry out your skin and prevents the essential natural oils from being produced. You just need 1 good cleaser and a toner followed by a moisturiser. Do this twice a day and your skin will be great. For extra and deeper cleasning try a face mask or scrub used only once or twice a week. For best results you also need to choose the products that suit your skin type. Contact me for more advice on products that suit different skin types / ages etc

Read in some women's magazine a letter from a Dermatologist. He said it wasn't necessary to cleanse, nor moisturise, as the skin will do both naturally. I sometimes think that with all the cleansers, moisturisers, anti-wrinkle creams, exfoliates, etc etc, that I've tried, all they've done is age my skin. Something I find that helps my skin is a good olive oil, whether it be by ingesting it or putting it directly on my skin.

dont wash your face more than twice a day unless you need to wash it a third, say, for example, if you got mud on your face or something. i dont know why you would, but obviously in that case you should wash it too. a cleansing wipe counts as washing your face, and a 2 in 1 cleanser and toner is bound to dry your skin out a lot too. choose one cleanser to use once in the morning and once at night, then a toner if you want to use after that, then a moisturizer. keep it a routine and use the same stuff. get makeup remover if you need to.

Your're overdoing it. A cleanser followed by a 2-in-1 is too much and you will strip your skin of its moisture balance and its oil mantle (maybe). Try Aloette's Gentle Foaming Cleanser (a milk-based cleanser) and the toner ... you choose the one that best suits your skin type. Then get the moisturizer that suits your skin type. You'll love it! It's anti-aging and anti-acne.

P.S. Your post is hard to read with all the numbers illogically replacing words. Just a gentle FYI.

IT doesnt sound like too much. Why do you use the cleansing milk if your going to use a 2 in 1 right after anwyay?? ive heard of ppl washing a lot more than that. Just jduge by your skinm if it starts getting dry, red, or irritated, you might be washing ti too much. if you not having problmes with it then you are probably ok.

the more you clean it, the more you take out the oils. Also, all the tugging increases wrinkles. A makeup remover followed by cleansing and moisturizing is fine. A toner (alcohol) is drying. Try not to use it daily - twice a week is fine.

It seems to me that you are doing to much but each to there own... the reason why i say your doing to much is because every time you do that you are removing oils on you face and you face just produces even more oils as before which clogs you pores even more .... you should only cleanse you face once in the morning and once before you go to bed ...and for acne prone skin 3 times Dayle is OK.

Yes it is possible. You can damage your skin and cause dryness and irritation. It removes all the minerals and vitamins that your skin needs to be healthy and soft. Over cleansing your skin can also increase your acne if you have any. Your skin can get super red and feel like its burning. I know this from experience.

Washing your face this much will make your skin actually produce more oils to replace those that you are washing off. You are going to get caught in a vicious cycle! I think you should wash your face in the morning and at night only. Maybe you should go to a licensed esthetician to have them evaluate your skin and suggest appropriate products. I use Bioelements and have the found they have a variety of great products for all types of skin. -good luck!

It's possible to cleanse too much- it strips away the lipid layer of your skin. If this system works for you, good. If your skin peels, you may want to cut back a little- Cetaphil makes good non-stripping cleansers.
