why does it seem like i am the ONLY one without a bf? I am new at my school... but i quickly made a lot of friends and i am semi-popular... People often tell me i am pretty and all that but i havent been asked out by anyone. Oh yeah i am in 8th grade. And i dont want anyone to tell me i am too young to date bc im not and a lot of people at my school are dating. Do you ever feel like you are the only one single? help!

i am DEFINATELY not full of myself if i was i wouldnt have to ask this question.
and yes i do hang out with guys.

when u like some guy, give him hints, like look at him make eye contact hold eye contact for awhile then smile and look at another thing, or any other hints, coz usually guys at ur age are shy, and maybe some of them would think she's too good for me and probably would think if i asked her out she would say no.
I'm sure there are more than one guy who like u but they just want to receive some kind of invitation from u, hints like i said to u.

I know exactly how you feel... i didnt get my first boyfriend till summer before 10th and before that i couldnt understand why i hadnt had a boyfriend sooner. Like you i make friends easily, semi popular, people say i'm pretty... but guys just didnt ask me out. Finally during the summer i met a guy at a sports camp.. we broke up a few monthes later and after that i didnt have as much of a desire to hook up with someone. So trust me it will happen.. and dont go out with somebody you dont like just to say you have a boyfriend. Focus on having fun because you only go to high school once!

There is no hurry in dating. Just wait for the right person to come around. And if you like someone and you don't want to ask them out then just give hints and flirt. Just because you are single and others aren't doesn't mean anything but the fact that there is no one you like or no one that seems compatible with you

Alot of your friends may be dating but do their parents know about it, is key here. Why do you need a boyfriend to be happy, who taught you that having a man is everything, little girl? How does popularity and having a boyfriend tie in to each other. You dont need to worry about having a boyfriend, focus on school, get through that and then date later.

well, it depends how often u communicate with boys. if you dont hang out with guys a lot, or u dont have a lot of guy friends, that could be one possibility why you dont have a guy. also, ur new at ur school so it could take time for a guy to get to know u before he gets the courage to ask you out. just give it some time. and if u like a guy, try to get to know him better. but, u can always ask a guy out. :P

yes im in grade 10 and im like the only one who has never had a gf. people tell me im good looking and im like a bruce lee type of guy. its sucks but life goes on. just have fun with your friends and have fun with your high school years. good luck

Maybe they are intimidated by you. sometimes guys are afraid to ask out attractive girls because they might get rejected. "Leak" the word out that you are interested in going out. the word will spread and soon you'll be asked!

because its middle school. dont sweat it. in high school you will either find a bf or in college. i didnt find anyone until high school but i got used to it. then again, im a dork. oh well.
