You can use the same recipe but the baking will be different.

use the same temperature but:
- for cake to cupcakes reduce baking time by one third to one half

- for cupcake to cake increase baking time by between about one half longer to double.

a two layer cake (standard recipe) is the same amount of batter as about 24 - 30 cupcakes

(I'm surprised, i really expected it to say lower the temperature, that would have made a big difference :-P )

the only distinction between fixing a regular cake and cupcakes is you place the batter (comparable amt of aspects for each) right into a cupcake pan. I quite have never had to alter the time or temperature and that they have got constantly grew to become out superb.

Then you can make a cake out of it instead of cupcakes! I don't think it would need to be altered. Cupcakes are mini cakes in baking cups!

No, it will not be altered and you can double the recipe if you would like and make two cakes. It will not alter the taste.
