I Got a 2002 Acura RSX S
Almost Finished With Building =]
Im a newb at speakers. My car currently has 5 1/4" speakers. I was looking at pioneer electronics today and i found 6 3/4" speakers and i said WOAH ! I was wondering if i can replace my old speakers with 6 3/4". If so, what would i have to do and what kind of tools i willl need. thank you =]

if you're going to upgrade, why not go with components.
there's no need to cut into your car to make certain speakers fit. they make brackets so that you can use 6 3/4" speakers rather than the 5 1/4" ones you have.

i would choose components over single speakers anyday. the difference is night and day.

i usually stay away from bestbuy or any other retailer. the majority of the time the employees don't really know what they are talking about.

tin snips so you can cut a bigger hole theres enough space,drill bits , use new speaker wire dont use the factory wire

You would have to cut the existing mounting hole bigger. I would suggest staying the same size.

yes you will need a drill,set the speaker in and mark location for your screw holes

if their is enough room U can cut out the hole with a jig saw
