What would be the likely temperature range?

40~50"F usually, can be high 60"F, but once in a while can be 30" during night. Rains not often during that time, some showers maybe.
I always thought New York temp. pattern is very similar to Seoul.

Right at the end of December I've seen a bit of snow, but quite a bit more in Jan and early Feb. Certain areas do get hit with more snow. Out in the Gangwon-do areas you do get more snow and your tour seems to be pretty good. If Vivaldi Park is good enough for Lee Hyo Ri than I'm sure you'll enjoy it ;)

It'll be cold like winter, last year snow fell in the early March
