Believe me, when you find it, you'll know. No question about it. There are different kinds of love too. You may be in love with someone, that in your heart you know, this is not the person you will marry. Nonetheless, you love them. It's hard to explain, but when you fall in love with the one your meant to spend the rest of your life with, you'll just know. You'll feel the connection, the oneness. It's the most special feeling in the world. You will never want to spend not one day away from each other. That's true love.

True love will pass beyond the grave and is present in the soul as well as the heart.
It is a wonderful feeling that goes beyond the bounds of the physical attraction.
True love does not even need physical attraction. (If you want to turn it into a relationship THEN you need physical attraction)
It instils a feeling of peace within your heart whenever the object of your love is near.
Communication with them blows your mind even if it's just saying hello.
When you part it tears up your insides even if it is only going to be for a day.
True love will last for a lifetime.
If it is really TRUE love, then their happiness is the foremost thing in your life and if they are happy in a relationship with someone else then you will also be happy (even though you may be a little jealous). If they are happy single then you, too, will be happy with them being single.
Not many people can experience such a love that transcends the need to express possession at the exclusion of others (eg make them MY bf/gf) or that can accept and actually be happy at their happiness in a loving relationship with another.

for me it was like this . i was walking alone the lake side lots of people around but i was alone.
i was just thinking about the girl a little bit and other stuff too boats all sorts of stuff.
then it came to me like a great voice saying "you are to be with Katherine "
pow it was out of this world i had to get off the path sit on the ground right away this was huge . i cried some with joy.
i thought i had been in love many times but nothing came to me like this.
me and her have had fights sure but even if we both seem to really try to leave each other this force brings us back together
i believe this force is love.

You just know.
You know what it's like to love people in your family. You'd do anything for them, including die for them.
Love is built over time with trust and friendship. You'll both know and you'll both feel it.
Don't misconstrue a crush or lust for love.
