First, stop feeding her for 24 hour to help her bowels settle down. But make sure she has plenty of fresh water available; you can also give her Pedialyte if you can afford that.
Then start feeding her a bland diet of boiled hamburger and rice. It will fill her up and nourish her without upsetting her tummy. Very slowly, over the period of about a week or so, start rotating in her normal dog food (mixing it with the rice mixture) until she's eating her normal food. Don't push hard kibble on her too quickly or she'll get diarrhea again; rotate it in slowly.
Feed her the boiled rice and hamburger and high grade puppy chow (it has more nourishment than adult dog food and usually has proteins that are easier for a puppy to digest) to help fatten her up. Feed her at least twice a day (three times is best), and let her eat as much as she wants to at each sitting.
You may also be able to give a little Kaopectate to help stop her diarrhea, but call a vet first and get the proper dosage to give her.
At 6 weeks she'll need to get her first puppy shot and will also need to be wormed. (Worms may be responsible for her malnoursihed look and diarrhea.)

Good luck! And bless you for adopting this baby!

Hi. How nice of you to take this pup in. I have slowly added more food weekly. Use hard puppy chow and mix with some canned and perhaps you can curb that diarrhea. I have given a puppy Kaopectate 1 teaspoon if the diarrhea was too watery once a day. I'm sure she was wormed. Give her less food if she barfs and increase the amount. Her stomach may not be quite ready but should improve by the week. You can increase her protein with an egg cooked twice a week. Have a great year and may you two have a great relationship

Normally diarrhea is not good in a puppy. Has the dog been checked out by a vet? If not this is the first thing that needs to be none. Puppies are very apt to get parvo and diarrhea is the first sign.Parvo is very dangerous. If puppy is well, no worms, no sickness you can get products at that vet for malnourished animals. There is one called vita a cal that is loaded with vitamins and calories that would be good. Best advise though is to take the puppy to the vet.

I'll say Skinny Puppy, I'm not particularly familiar with Front 242, but Skinny puppy seems to have a harder edge that I prefer,

Best to start her off with brown rice for about 2 days to get her back use to eating on a regular basis. Then start adding a little good quality can food until she is eating all dog food. She will start putting on weight. Feed small meals 5 - 6 times a day.
Take her for a check up. The vet may hold off on shots depending on how bad off she is. Get a puppy vitamin also.

Make sure to take her to the vet and make sure she's not wormy. Then just let her eat a little several times a day.Don't leave it down for her, she may over eat and get sick.Make sure that you keep her on a good puppy food and put a little warm water on it to soften it up.Make sure that she has fresh water.......Good Luck.

It is against the law for a shelter/rescue to adopt out a puppy before it has completed it's 7th week.
This puppy needs to be seen by a vet asap!!! it is very important. Puppies dehydrate easily and can go down hill and die quickly.
No one on here not even vet techs like myself or licensed vets can help with your puppy ..it needs to be seen....NOW!!!

Take her to the vet. If she is skinny she might have worms. Give her some high-calorie food like cooked hamburger and eggs.

Get lamb and rice food. Soak it in water, drain the water, and mush it up. Then mix it with some canned food. Give it a little bit at a time. Just continue to give it water, and take it to a vet.
