I didn't really mean to do it...it just sort of happened. But now I don't know what to do. OK, so here's what happened...

You know that little tag on the bed that says, "Do not remove under penalty of law". Well, I sort of removed it....Now I don't know what's gonna happen to me!!

How much time do i have to serve for something like this? Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do now?!?!?!

Please, someone, HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, ~Katie~

Read the next line after DO NOT REMOVE
it will say something like To be removed by consumer.
That is you and you will not serve time for taking the tag off your own property.

You didn't do anything illegal. The seller of the mattress is the one who cannot remove the tag. You on the other hand can legally remove it.

Hopefully you don't get an illegal operation message on your computer while your reading this as then you will really be in trouble.

you didn't do anything illegal - once you have purchased it you are allowed to remove those tags. I used to think the same and all my throw pillows had those stupid tags on them until one of my friends told me it was ok to remove them.

There is no help for you. You should drive down immediately and turn yourself in. That way, in a couple years when you get pulled over for minor traffic violations, you won't have a warrant out for your arrest.
