His "public" military record is completely prefabricated like George W Bush's. The White House is having a very hard time of keeping witnesses quiet but it's nonetheless all too easy to write a book or website expounding all sorts of prefabrications. You could make your own websites saying what a great military leader you were yourself. Most folks would be none the wiser and Hollywood might even want to make a movie about you.
And didn't he shoot a hunting budy in the face last year??? Obviously he's rather incompetant around weapons.

Dick Cheney was a great leader in his day. He led the way with consecutive deferments to avoid military service. He was NEVER in the military, but he certainly provided a big boost for Haliburton.
