Well hell yeah! You are paying the low life to bring you the pizza, who cares what you look like. It is even better if you are 300 pounds and hairy like a bear standing at the door just in your underwear! That would rock! You could probably get away without tipping too.

i have not ordered pizza delivery when you consider that college, even as i'm truly certain i ought to now and again have responded the door, and that i grow to be truly oftentimes shirtless in my dorm room or suite. yet I now answer the door shirtless w/o understanding who that's. So in spirit, i wager I nevertheless qualify. And no (when you consider that it is the Etiquette section), i don't believe of it truly is rude. Answering in undies IS rude, regardless of in case you've were given a stripper-high quality bod. it would not remember in the experience that your UW covers way more suitable than your Speedos (which may be polite sufficient), it truly is not any longer good style!

You can make these huge arguements about freedom of whatnot, but in the end, it's simple: there are unspoken common courtesys, and while no one's going to send you to jail for answering the door without a shirt on, it'll make people uncomfortable, and unless you're the sort who likes screwing with people, it's just something you probably shouldn't do. I mean, sure, it's "kind of funny" in a universal sense, but you know that the other guy is like "Oh great, some freak showing some skin" and now he's all upset, and all he wants is to get money and give you the pizza so he can go back to his job...

I like messing with people a little myself; staring at people oddly through the glass windows at a restaurant. But it's important to identify that there's no hostility, and it's just there to add a little bit of "twist" to life for both people. People feel weird, but in the end, if someone can go away shaking their head with a small chuckle, that's better than if they have to walk away utterly exasperated.

My girlfriend has informed me this response is too long.

It's your house, you can pretty much do as you please. I would say if you order a pizza or delivery and take your shirt off and then wait for them, then yes you have a problem. If they happen to catch you while changing, maybe take a shirt with you and put it on as you answer. If they catch you in the shower, that's what towels are for, just make sure you tie tight. The bottom line is, do you want to make them wait for you to get ready, or do you just want to answer the door? They could be gone by the time you go find a shirt though!

Etiquette says the proper way to answer the door is having a shirt on. Now I have answered the door nude when I knew it was Jehovah Witnesses. I worked the Grave shift and they kept coming to my house every week waking me up. Finally I had enough. Why do you keep asking questions about guys being shirtless?

If I didn't invite you over and you were some random person just bugging people while they are home and I'm not wearing a shirt when you knock then yes. Also if i Invited you over and asked to answer the door shirtless...lol

uh, yeah. Whats the big deal. I work outside with shirt off. Never gotten any reaction, except maybe wanting to know if that's hair or fur.

Why do you keep asking questions about taking off your shirt?

Answer: NO. That's disgusting.

NO ONE wants to see you without your shirt on.

Keep you shirt on whenever there is another human present.
