how can you tell when you are getting better?

When you follow drs.orders don't eat 3to4 hrs. before going to bed and when you lay down ,no more heartburn or reflux. I t was suggested that i put bed risers under my head of the bed,to sleep at an angle ,that helps . good luck!

when you lay down at night and you dont have heartburn or acid indigestion. thats when the acid backs up in to your esophagus.

i have had it for years and i couldnt lay flat at night but now i can since taking the right meds for it. feel better

i have acid reflux to, and you tell ur gettin better when it starts to go away

When you have been to the Doctor and have taken your medicine. Then you go back to the same Doctor for a follow up and he can see that you are recovering.

It stops hurting. The body can heal itself. You can stop the pain by changing your eating habits.
