My dog is in the last stage of heat and she is acting very restless and is whining and is very uncomfortable. Is this normal? Or should I be worried?

She did NOT breed with any male.

If your dog is in the LAST stage of heat and was not bred - she may just be "antsy". What type of breed is she and is this her first heat? Believe it or not - they look for the boys!!!! So be careful that there is not one around. I would not recommend taking her to a petstore - as they would not knwo what to do with her - You need to know your dog's own traits - such as what is normal and not - probably you are a little worried and she is picking up on that as well- but mostly - I think in about a week you will find that all is back to normal (3 weeks in heat remember!!!) - Good Luck and just reassure your dog that she will back to normal soon!

Animal birth is far far easier than human birth.I dont even think they feel pain when they are giving birth although they still need to put effort in.

Shes rstless because she is probably paranoid about other dogs trying to mount her.
