Hi Kayla...your kitten would be considered a Domestic Short Hair (DSH) Lynx Point Tabby--and very cute!! Himalayan's are long-haired breeds with flat faces and are without any bandings on their body unlike a tabby cat. Your cat appears to have similar markings of a Lynx Point Siamese so she could have a mix of that particular breed.

Love blue-eyed kitties - I have two! Definately not himalayan - they have long hair and squishy faces. Honestly she's probably just a tabby mixed with another tabby and either both or one of the parents had blue-eyed genes - there are a lot of breeds that can have blue eyes. But it could be siamese, ragdoll, snowshoe, or tonkinese. Kittens change so much while they're growing up that she probably won't get her full coat and coloring until she's a couple years old. She's adorable and I tell you what, if I know female cats, and blue-eyed female cats at that, she's going to miss princess of your household.

I definately think this is a cross between tabby and Birman. It's not Siamese or Himalayan because they don't have white feet, as I see your kitten does. All Birmans have white feet and darker points on the ears, legs and tail and it's obvious from the photos your kitten has slightly darker ears. If your kitten's hind feet are also white, then it's most likely a cross between tabby and birman. It's difficult to say what colour birman it would be, they come in various colours, but here's a pic of a blue point birman and a seal tabby point birman

She doesn't really seen to have the fat face and still has short hair. Not to say she couldn't have some in her some how. I would rpobablly guess first a tabby with a possible mix of siamese because of the light coloring. But she is just mostly tabby and probablly just light colored

No, no Himalayan-she's got short hair not medium long. But judging from her darker ears and blue eyes I would venture to guess that she may be Blue Point Siamese with Tabby.

She's adorable.

Awww, she's beautiful! I would agree with both of you. She probably does have a bit of Himalayan in her, but is definitely not a full bred Himalayan cat. Either way, she's a gorgeous kitty!

She looks like she's a gray tabby. Himalayans would have a different type of face and would be built bigger.

A tabby isn't a breed, it's a coloring, so your husband probably has the right breed, and you have the right coat colors..

You are both right and both win.. there you go.
