You and i are in a similar boat, except I am not close to anyone else to talk to them about it. My bf was the only person that I was close to and he left me b/c I told him how depressed I was.
You're lucky that you have some friends that you might be able to talk to.
I have cried so much during the past 2 days I don't know what to do. I don't want to eat and I guess more or less I am miserable.
Maybe you can try to get your boyfriend to talk to you again. Write him a letter telling him how much he means to you. I did that, but he didnt get the letter yet. If it works out, Ill let you know.

ok i understand how you feel. i am 31 years old now and when i was 18 i went through the same thing becasue i suffered from anxiety and a bad childhood so aside from that i was put on antidepressants and now addicted to those. long story short give your self the time to grieve. you are depressed for a reason. losing a boyfriend is just as bad as death. you need to surround yourself with family and friends and although they are not feeling the pain you are feeling right now it will go away. i have had my heart broken about 4 times. you don't need to give anyone a reason for your feelings remember that. your feelings are your own and you never need to justify them to anyone. time heals all wounds i know you wont believe it but you will see.

Most "normal" people cannot understand depression, even if you try to explain it to them. Contact your local community mental health organization. You need some professionals to talk with that understand, and you may need some short-term medications. Best wishes.

i feel your pain....i am dealing with this with my husband, who cheated on ME. the guilt was overwhelming. luckily, i am a positive person and got over my depression. are you on meds? are you talking to a psychiatrist? you may need both. strengthen your mind. it is up to YOU to get better. do not blame yourself for his screw up.....if he did not think enough of your relationship to cheat on you...you MUST move forward....without him....preferably. IF it is meant to be, you will get back together. but ,for now, put yourself first.....get well and then decide if he is worth the pain and trouble. he probably will cheat again....can you handle that? why torture yourself any longer?it is hard...it will be harder to get over it...but you can.will you ever trust him again? NO.....that is the hardest part......you may forgive him, but you will NEVER.....NEVER.....NEVER forget what he did. if you pray, do it like never before. find some inner peace.....and know that the future will be better .....find a man who will appreciate YOU....and love YOU ..there are a few left......and good luck.

You need to speak with your doctor and get a prescription that will help you cope and then manage your feelings. You are worth more and you can't move forward until you take care of yourself.
Please see your doctor asap, you will feel so much better.

If your long term boyfriend is unfaithfull get rid of him, get checked for disease and work on yourself. Be the best you can be and treat yourself right. Leave the loser boyfriend.

depression sometimes take a while to cured, I guess one makes you depressed is your unfaithful boyfriend, you need to kick him out and not worth it to keep.
and then concentrated with your problems. You need to go out and enjoy life by not thinking too much about what happened. sometimes we need times for ourself.
