I like them both, but I prefer the Maltese a little more than Yorkies. I think that Yorkies are cuter, but I like the Maltese personality more.

Well I like the Yorkie because of the look. But a cross between the two is good too.
I had a Yorkie cross Tszu and he was the best of all my dogs so much so that now he is gone (lived to 14) although I love to look at other dogs in the pet shop and find them adorable and would love a dog... I just can't bear the idea of trying to replace my Terry because I know it just won't be the same.

I prefer the Maltese but it depends on your lifestyle. Both require a lot of grooming and care. Do a lot of research before making your decision. Typically the Maltese is easier to train!! Good Luck :)

I like both of them but i kinda prefer a Maltese. They both are nice dogs though.

I have had both. While I loved them both-I would get another Yorkie in a heartbeat.
